Description

Strong, knowledgeable school leaders are critical to the success of student literacy learning. Regie Routman, in her decades of literacy work in schools, found that “without strong principal leadership, whole school achievement is rarely possible or sustainable.” During this interactive workshop, school and district teams will learn the specific actions that must be taken to improve student learning in the area of literacy. Teams will be guided through a process to examine their current literacy leadership practices and to determine how to strengthen these practices to improve student outcomes.
