Danica Lewis is an educational consultant specializing in leadership development, curriculum design, and schoolwide literacy improvement. She previously served as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Pupil Services for the Fond du Lac School District in Wisconsin for 8 years. In that role, she oversaw all aspects of student learning, with a special emphasis on the development, implementation, and sustainability of a district-wide literacy model, standards-based grading K-12 and professional learning communities in the 16 schools of the district. In her role as a consultant and presenter, Danica has worked with large urban districts, as well as suburban and rural districts, to facilitate powerful professional learning around literacy, data analysis, equity, curriculum development, and leadership for teachers and leaders. Danica is currently serving as the Executive Director for Woodlands School, Inc., an independent public charter school in Milwaukee, focusing on academic school turnaround.
