Eric Larsen has 18 years of professional experience spanning public schools, college, and regional/state level positions. After teaching agriscience for 11 years, he began a three year tenure with Cornell University in their Department of Education. As a professional development specialist and director of Agricultural Education Outreach for the state of New York, Eric worked closely with teachers and administrators in rural, suburban and urban settings. Eric continued his work in educational leadership, serving as an education consultant for Career Pathways at the Wisconsin DPI. At the DPI, Eric was also tapped to help lead the efforts around Disciplinary Literacy in the Common Core Standards. Eric has served both CESA 8 and CESA 6 as a coordinator for Learning and Assessment. His primary expertise and support with FIRST includes data literacy, assessment and professional learning communities.
