Practical Shifts That Improve Learning

Rethinking Assessment and Reassessment
What do our assessments really tell us about student learning? And what happens when students aren't successful the first time?
Assessment and reassessment should work together to provide meaningful evidence of learning and opportunities for students to improve. Yet many familiar classroom practices make this more complicated than it needs to be.
Join us for a free, interactive workshop focused on practical ways to rethink assessment and reassessment. Through examples, classroom scenarios and collaborative conversations, we'll examine common challenges, explore manageable solutions and identify changes that can make a difference for students and teachers.
Participants will:
- Examine how assessment practices influence the evidence we gather about student learning.
- Explore ways to use assessment evidence to guide feedback and additional learning.
- Identify common reassessment challenges and practical strategies for addressing them.
- Reflect on current practices and identify meaningful next steps.
You'll leave with fresh perspectives, practical ideas and a clearer understanding of how assessment and reassessment can work together to support learning.
